Visiting Bonaly

You can arrange a day visit to Bonaly Scout Centre to enjoy the facilities and activities. Evening visits are very popular for campfires, wide games or using the activities provided by the Centre however these can only be offered when there is sufficient daylight to operate safely and must be booked in advance.

Half day

This covers morning, afternoon or evening visits which are typically 1-4 hours.

Full day

Full day visits are usually up to 8 hours however we are happy if you have a more intensive programme that takes longer.

Is there a supply of wood for cooking and campfires?

We do have a limited supply of wood however we always recommend that you bring a supply of dry wood including kindling.

Is it possible to arrange visits during the winter months?

Unless you are holding a campfire, we recommend that evening visits should be arranged when there is sufficient daylight to run activities safely.

Can we book activities for our visit?

Yes, these must be booked in advance however instructor led activities need a minimum of 4 weeks notice for our volunteer team. Activity equipment can only be used when there is sufficient daylight to run these safely.
